HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NECOLE!!!

WHERE HAVE THE YEARS GONE? I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE 21 TODAY!!!
IT WAS ONLY YESTERDAY THAT YOU WHERE STILL IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL(just kidding). I HOPE YOU GET OUT THERE AND START TAKING LIFE BY THE HORNS BECAUSE THE LONGER YOU WAIT THE HARDER IT GETS. YOU HAVE LOTS OF POTENTIAL IN YOU AND I WANT TO SEE YOU REACH THE HIGHEST. I LOVE YOU AND ONLY WISH THE BEST FOR YOU.

LOVE, RACH

Christmas shopping and then some.....

Who's bright ideal was it to go Christmas shopping in Denver on the weekend that it dumps 20inches on the mountains? OH, wait, that would be MINE!! We went to Denver on Friday to see Josh's mom and do some Christmas shopping over the weekend. The drive up was hairy!! Lots of ice, snow and of course don't forget the crazy drivers. In the mist of all the chaos there was a guy with the roof of his car down and a Santa Claus hat on!!!LOL!!!
I only went shopping for about fourty-five minutes on Saturday because I was sick all weekend(so much for a break). It was probably from being up for thirty-six hours(worked the night before) and not eating anything. Your body sure will tell you when it's had enough. I felt much better on Sunday for the ride home which was worse than Friday. I even kept my jacket over my eyes so I wouldn't have to watch. Anyways, we made it back safe and it was great spending time with Phyllis(they both took great care of me - THANK YOU).
Friday morning we went to Jinki's doctor appointment. I can't believe she's 35 weeks!! Come to find out the little turkey turned BREECH(butt down) on her!!!! So, of course she got the lecture on a possible c-section if he doesn't turn on his own or a version doesn't work. She is scared but I promised I'd be there and we'd find her a great OB to do the surgery, if needed. We are believing that he'll turn so she can deliver vaginally.
Tonight my handsome husband and I are going on a date night. Can you believe that we have to schedule a date night and we don't even have kids yet!! We are going to eat at the Thai restaurant in OM, Ying Tia. It's one of our favorite places. I'm so excited. Well better go finish getting ready.

Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Rachel C.

I can't belive you are 20 years old. No longer a little girl. You are all grown up and a mighty woman of God. You are such an inspiration and blessing in my life. May all your wishes come true!!!

Love

The temperature falling, snow in the air, and Christmas lights blazing or at least in the thought process of being put up. It was this very night last year that my wonderful husband asked me to spend the rest of my life with him(boy, was that a hard decision to make - only took six years of procrastination on my part!!). I went over to his house to decorate the tree. He already had the lights turned down, lights on the tree, tree skirt on and tube lights under the tree skirt. On the beautiful tree skirt were many rocks(beautiful minerals that my husband collects - his pride and joy). As I am gather my ornaments that I brought over to put on the tree, Josh kept stating that I need to come and look at some of the new "rocks" (I'm thinking "sure, in a minute, I'm trying to gather my ornaments so I don't have to make another trip across the room" - lazy!!). Josh once again asks very politely to come see some NEW ROCKS he had put under the tree.
So, after about 5-10 minutes of being a butt, I finally walk over to Josh by the tree. He hands me two or three rocks in a row(I'm thinking "I'm never going to be able to guess what mineral this is, so , please don't ask"). He proceeds by handing me a ceramic rock that I just casual look at and then REALIZE it has something written on it, "Grow old with me, the best is yet to come." Josh gets down on one knee and tells me how much he loves me and wants to spend the rest of his life with me. Then he pulls out thee most gourgeous ring!!! Of course, everyone knows the answer!!!
Josh - I LOVE YOU and look forward to growing old with you(I can't belive it's already been five months).

Thankful #3

Family & Friends, well because friends are basically family!!

For one, family is stuck with you and friends have the choice to stick around(or do they?)
My family sticks close when they choose too.:>(I thought that was suppose to be friends).
My In-Laws are the Best!!
My friends are equally the BEST!!!

Sorry, no pictures to post. I've already tried two computers and they will not let be post them!!! How frustrating. But I am Thankful!!!!

Thankful#2

Reasons I am thankful and blessed to have my husband....

..He inspires to be a wonderful man of God...
..loves me(God only knows why LOL!!)...
..allows me to cuddle at any time - even if he's not feeling well...
..always tries to put others first and find a way to bless them...
..is a wonderful chef(much better than I)!!!...
..gave me a complement on my third attempt at a meal last night(major points scored)...
..does his own laundry and helps with cleaning the house(only because he does
a better job than I - still learning how he likes things done!)...
..has beautiful blue eyes and nice buns...
..draws me hot baths when I'm at home during the nights(I will enjoy this time while I can)...
..works hard everyday to supply for his family...
..tells me he loves me and thinks I'm beautiful(of course, this is a must in marriage)...

Of course these are only a few things about my wounderfully, handsome husband. Thank you, Josh, for being you.

THANKFUL

With Thanksgiving later this week, I decided I would write about things I am thankful for in my life.
I am thankful for my God and Savior JesusChrist. For God allowing His one and only Son to die on the cross that I might have eternal life. That His whole purpose in this world was to show people Gods love and salvation. I am thankful that we have a wonderful, amazing example to follow. Even if we fall, He is there to help us get up and continue to move forward. I just hope my life is an example of Christs love(definetly not perfect-my life)!!

Will write more later.

Burst my bubble...

I actually cooked a meal for my husband. I took ellaporate time and care in preparing spicy, breaded, medallion porkchops with au gratin potatoes and soutwest corn. I felt good about the meal and I thought it tasted fairly well. In the middle of supper, Josh gets up from the table and states he has to go puke. Of course this burst my bubble. I thought the meal was pretty good and even ate three medallions. My husband came back and stated he had not been feeling well all day. Lets hope this was the case and not my cooking!!LOL!!

Latest...

Jinki's Baby Shower went great. Thank you, to all who came. I will try to post pictures later. I can't seem to locate the cable to connect to the computer. Jinki received lots of wonderful items(crib, playpin, bassinet, clothes, etc..). Of course, my mom went overboard on buying prizes for the games, so everyone left with a prize :> !! The cake was adorable and the train on it actually moved on the track (it was a wind-up train).
Ron (my step-dad) is down in Louisiana while my brother, Jushua, is in Florida doing construction work. I hope everything works out for them and protection continues to follow them.
Josh's parents will be coming in next week for Thanksgiving. Looking forward to spending time with them! Now, we need to find a big enough place to feed ten people!!!
Better go figure something out for dinner(scary!!!!).

Planning...

This Sunday is my sister, Tanya's(Jinki), Baby Shower. My mother and I have been planning this for over a month. My mom has been gather items here and there; games, gifts for the games, decor, etc... I only started yesterday!! I believe most of the planning and putting together is done. We have the food ready to pick up on Sunday, the room ready, games and people invited(let me know if I forgot anything :>);Josh and I will go pick up the present tomorrow. I should know what we're doing, it's not like I haven't been to at least ten of these before! I will try to post some pictures of the shower Sunday night or Monday. Need to go get a few more items.
Although, I am very excited to have a baby in the family again. It has been twelve years since my sister had Scotty, who no longer likes to be called Scotty, only Scott!!! Where does the time go?

HAPPY VETERANS DAY!! THANK YOU, TO ALL WHO HAVE SERVED AND ARE SERVING THIS COUNTRY!!!!!

Here we go...

Well, Jill has actually had this post set up for me for , lets say, two months. I hope to find time in sharring my daily life with friends and family this way. Unfortunately, I will not always have time to write. This is definetly a step for me. For one, I only know how to use the computers at work(which have very ancient software), all other computers scare me :> ; Two, I don't even know how to download pictures to the computer!! I have a lot to learn. People always tell me, "you will never learn if your don't try", so, here I go !!
